• it's located 40 km. away from ciudad del este. It is home to the history and life of a Swiss man who researched and learned about the culture of the Guarani probably more than any other European of his time. Bertoni was a true idealist and passionate botanist who settled with his family in the jungles of Paraguay in 1894 to implement their ideals anarchists from Europe. It normally live site rangers who look after the place, and an indigenous community Mbyá.
