There are various things to do for every night owl who has a free evening in Cleveland. For those who want to experience the bar and club scene, you'll want to head downtown. Shooters is a large restaurant and dance club that caters to young adults and is part of the Nautica Entertainment Complex in the Flats neighborhood on Cleveland's waterfront. Nearby in the Warehouse District are other clubs, including the Blind Pig. Other options downtown include Liquid Cafe, a hip place to relax, Pickwick & Frolic Restaurant and Club, which has a restaurant, cabaret theater and martini bar, as well as Corner Alley, a martini bar, diner, and bowling alley.
Not far from University Circle in the funky Coventry village, B-Side Liquor Lounge is a great place to dance. Very close by in the Cedar-Fairmount neighborhood, Nighttown Restaurant, which has a full menu and bar, frequently has live jazz concerts.
For those in the mood for a more cultural experience, the second largest performing center in the nation, The Playhouse Square Center, located on Euclid Avenue between downtown and University Circle, presents musical and theatrical performances. There you can see Broadway shows, as well as performances by DanceCleveland, The Cleveland Opera, and the Ohio Ballet. Be sure to check the performance schedules online beforehand.
