Romantic Things To Do in Cleveland

Cleveland may not evoke romance, but with its many beautiful parks and gardens, awe-inspiring architectural wonders, and historical institutions, couples will surely find many magical things to do in the city. Take a romantic stroll through the Cleveland Botanical garden. In spring and summer, lush blossoms and greenery abound in this oasis of nature. Year-round, visitors are drawn to the tropical ecosystems housed in the Eleanor Armstrong Smith Glasshouse and Environmental Education Center. The crystal-like conservatory is home to hundreds of species of butterflies, birds, animals, and plant life.

If marriage is on your mind, visit the Old Stone Church. This church was first established as The First Presbyterian Society in 1897. Disastrous fires forced the church to undergo a restoration, after which it retained its beautiful Romanesque appeal. Today, as you enter, a certain feeling of peace emanates. The stained glass windows were installed over a period from 1885 to 1976, and the church's ornate organ is a thing of beauty.

Feel like strolling hand-in-hand? Check out Voinovich Park. Located behind the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Voinovich Park is an important landmark for the people of Cleveland. At this quaint park you can take a romantic walk or simply relax in the shade. This is a wonderful place to cool off in the shade of the trees after spending a day exploring the city. Cleveland isn't exactly a mecca for lovers, but there are still plenty of activities that will put you in the mood for romance.
