This is former steamship that was used in World War II is now a well visited museum. Here people can check out the cargo holds,pilot house, engine room, guest quarters and more. The museum is operated and owned by the famous Great Lakes Science Center. Events like parties and more too take place with great ease here. The museum is operates seasonally. It is currently closed for the season and will reopen in May 2010. Check the website or call ahead before visiting the place.
