• Copenhagen's very own Coyote Club opened its doors for the first time in April 2011 across from Christiansborg, one of a handful of Coyote bars outside of the US. Inspired by the 90s film 'Coyote Ugly', the wild dancing bar girls serve drinks between performing shows up on the bar counter. The drinks are various, but the one that gets the interest is the trquila slammer—served with a football helmet, as the 'slam' happens when it's in the customer's mouth—on the bar top by one of the enthusiastic serving girls. The basement's cocktail bar is open from 9pm with free entry the first two hours, while the bar shows begin at 11pm upstairs with an entry charge of DKK 50. Minimum age 20 years. The very relaxed dress code does draw the line at sweat pants.
