There's plenty of Irish pubs in Copenhagen, but the Irish Rover, located on Vimmelskaftet in the middle of pedestrian Strøget, is the only one to call itself a gastropub. The outside seating during summer is ample and great for families, while the upstairs bar has a huge screen for showing a broad selection of live sports games ranging from soccer to horse racing. The kitchen is open from 10am to 10pm, and serves breakfast and snacks as well as main meals, but its jewel in the crown is its roast dinners on Sunday afternoons; especially family friendly, kids eat for DKK 50.
