Description:

  • Found opposite the Dagmar movie theater between Axeltorv and Rådhuspladsen, the Shamrock Inn was established in 1989, making it Copenhagen's oldest Irish pub. This no-frills bar moved out of its original premises not so long ago, when the Scala complex it was part of became scheduled for demolition – it is now located next door, where it continues to attract post-movie goers and those who appreciate its authentic Irish vibe. No food is offered but there's Guinness on tap – and a broad selection of other Irish as well as Danish beers - and live folk music is offered twice a week, as well as the popular darts matches.
