Underwood Ink - Copenhagen

  • Description:

    • Bohemian and alternative, Underwood Ink is the kind of place Kerouac might have hung out in - if he'd lived in Copenhagen, that is. A relative newcomer to Nørrebro's underground scene, this is a cafe/bar/bookshop all rolled into one, offering English as well as Danish books along with tapas plates, beer, wine and coffee - all at reasonable prices. In keeping with the artistic feel of the place, the walls of Underwood Ink also serve as a gallery, and  there are regular events in the form of small concerts and readings from an eclectic selection of international artists and writers.
