- An inconspicuous, stone building in Vesterbro houses Copenhagen's last remaining venue for cutting-edge live art and underground performance. Warehouse9 is found in the top end of the rejuvenated meat-packing district Kødbyen, next to PH Cafeen and Øksnehallen, in the area known as Den Brune Kødbyen (the brown meat city). The venue is the place for catching offbeat gay and lesbian events and arts festivals, outrageous performances and occasional exhibitions, attracting local as well as international names. Most shows are in English and guests are a mix of locals and visiting creative types. Door prices are generally low.
