• This campsite is located a roughly 15-minute bus ride north of Copenhagen, in a small green area that's close enough to shops, cafes and the city to cater for the urban traveler—though the high rise view may not be the most idyllic. There's a good range of facilities, including toilets, showers, playground and nearby open air baths. Don't worry if you forgot your tent: It's also possible to rent caravans and cabins for 2 or 4 people. Note that Danish campsites charge a small fee for use of electricity. For those wishing to do plenty of sightseeing, bike rental is available at a daily rate. Open from June to August only.
