A rather drab exterior hides a modern, newly renovated hotel run by the Scandinavian chain First Hotels. Inside, the grey, monochrome color tone looks stylish and contemporary, and this hotel caters for business travelers in particular with conference facilities and onhand AV staff. The hotel has 215 rooms, all with 24-hour room service, minibar, and free WiFi, as well an inhouse gym, sauna/spa, bar and restaurant. Though the location isn't particularly ideal for vacationing families, larger family rooms are available. Found a cab/bus ride out of the city in the former industrial quarter of Sydhavn, the hotel is part of new plans to redesign Copenhagen's southwest harbor with modern building complexes. Those arriving by cab from Kastrup Airport will find First Hotel Copenhagen just over the main Sjællandsbroen bridge.
