• Recently taken over by the Scandinavian chain First Hotels, First Hotel G & Suites is a relative newcomer on Copenhagen's hotel scene. It comprises 75 two-room suites and five penthouse apartments all with their own bedroom, living room, mini-kitchen and bathroom – the penthouse suites also have their own terrace with a view both of the Lakes and the downtown area. It is especially suited for frequent business travelers tired of living out of a suitcase and craving a little more independence as well as more long-term visitors and families requiring a little extra space. Breakfast is not included in the room price, but is offered for an extra charge of DKK 115. There is also a large meeting room in the hotel with a capacity of 150. Parking is available next door to the hotel for a small extra charge.
