- Built in 1966, White House (Hvide Hus) is a four-star hotel. It offers ordinary rooms as well as executive rooms with attached balconies. Situated close to the beach (100-200m), and at one kilometer's distance from train connections to the center of Copenhagen (25 miles away), this manages to be a rural hotel without being in the country. The hotel keeps flamingos (!) and goats as pets, and in the immediate vicinity of the hotel there are eight golf courses. If the weather is bad, the hotel's collection of Danish and international art is worth a look.
