  • A classic, English-style hotel, Kong Frederik offers four-style luxury on a historic site. The hotel itself dates back as far as 1868, but there have been inns and hotels on the site since the 14th-century. The hotel was extensively renovated in early 2010 after being bought by the First Hotels group and its sleek decor and monochrome lines add a smart design finish to the old world touches. Although the hotel is located on a busy thoroughfare close to the Town Hall Square, the hotel offers a peaceful and secluded courtyard at its rear. The hotel restaurant, Cofoco's The Italian, offers top-notch pizza and pasta at reasonable prices.
