A historical landmark of the city, the hotel has retained much of its original architecture, especially in the classic rooms (the 'Nordic' rooms on offer are more modern in their decor and suited to people with allergies). The hotel can actually trace its history back to 1695, when Hotel Prindsen was one of the first licensed inns in the area.
