Previously the Hotel Europa, Omena Hotel opened in summer 2010 as the first hotel offered by budget hotel chain Omena outside of the chain's native Finland. Furnished in a basic but smart syle, all the rooms at Omena hotels offer accomodation on a good-sized double bed, with two fold-out easy chairs offering extra sleeping room for a further two people. All rooms offer widescreen TV, fridge, kettle, free internet access and a shower and toilet en suite - breakfast, however, is not included.Omena also prides itself on its security, which includes CCTV cameras in all the hotel's corridors. If you've ever stayed at an Omena hotel in Finland, your room in Copenhagen will no doubt be familiar: rooms are virtually identical whatever the city.
