This grand-looking hotel is centrally-located on the main shopping throughfare of Vesterbro, close to the lively square of Vesterbro Torv and some of the city's nicest cafes, and offers surprisingly competitive rates. The building dates from 1906, when it was fitted with Denmark's first elevator - a feature that is still there today. The entire hotel has been wonderfully preserved in its original art nouveau style. Thoroughly renovated, it offers 66 rooms on 6 floors, all with en-suite bathrooms and free wireless internet access and all facing the hotel's pleasant courtyard. The hotel is a member of the international environmental labelling scheme Green Key, which means a commitment to saving energy and some tasty organic options as part of the hotel's buffet breakfast (included in the room rates). Tea and coffee can be bought from vending machines next to the 24-hour reception, which also rents out bikes for those who feel like exploring the city like a local.

Savoy Hotel is a classically furnished hotel with a private restaurant and an attached summer-open courtyard terrace. Its rooms all have a private bathroom/toilet, telephone, cable TV and mini-bar, and an electric kettle for making free coffee and tea. With its location on Vesterbro it is not far from attractions such as Tivoli, Strøget and the Town Hall Square.
