- For a truly intimate dining experience, make a booking a first floor apartment 1 t.h. (the name is the abbreviation used on city addresses: 1st floor on the right). You'll need to reserve some weeks before to receive your personal invitation in the post. It costs DKK 1350 per person for the entire night, including wine, appetisers and a ten-course meal, which you pay beforehand by bank check/standing order. The select group of about 20 guests come from Denmark as well as abroad, to enjoy an exclusive, but far from stuffy gastronomic experience. First opened by Mette Sia Martinssen of Madeleines Madteater in 2000 (whose goal in all her projects has been to make meals into an event), 1 t.h. was previously run by chef Anita Clemmensen but the role has since been overtaken by Jonas Christensen and Frederik Borg, who have retained similarly high standards.
