A truly Venetian atmosphere is created by the many masks and other northern Italian items hanging on the walls. There is space for 110 customers, so this can be a lively place when full. Venetian main courses include the speciality tagliata alla veneziana. After the dinner, try a grappa, the Italian spirit made from fermented grape husks. Al Mercante has a selection of more than 30 grappas, so there is a great chance of finding one you will like.

Great Italian food in authentic surroundings

Been to Al Mercante once, and I really liked it. I went there for a special party, where everybody had the same menu. I liked all the 3 dishes, can't really find a place to complain.
