• This is the restaurant of the Imperial Hotel in a central location, next to Vesterport Station. The classic old-school restaurant has room for 80 customers. The roof can be opened, and sometimes actually is opened, during the few warm and sunny summer's days in Denmark. There is quite a relaxed and quiet atmosphere. Note that smoking is not allowed in the dining salon. Most of the food is as classic as the restaurant; that is part of the concept. You'll find short loin of beef, steak au poivre and salmon marinated in salt, sugar and spices. But in the past years various international cuisines have made their mark on the menu as well as the usual Danish/French. So now you might just as well find Italian or Japanese dishes among the main courses, which cost from DKK185. A vegetarian menu costs DKK225.
