Description:
- What was originally Brockdorff's Palace, built in 1750-60, is now Frederik VIII's Palace. The palace is the new home of Crownprince Frederik and the Princess Mary and their two children Prince Christian and Princess Isabella. Home to the oldest monarchy in the world, the Frederik VIII's Palace, owned by the Danish state and run by the Palaces and Properties Agency, was originally built for Baron Joachim Brockdorff. The interiors of the palace have been maintained as much a s possible, even to the exact shade of grey paint on the woodwork as in 1828.
