Keep the kids entertained all day.

  • Description:

    • Copenhagen Zoo is the one of the oldest animal parks in Europe, and the only attraction in Copenhagen to be open 365 days a year. Situated in the south-west corner of Frederiksberg Have, the zoo also extends to the other side of Roskildevej, with connecting tunnel under the highway, the north-west corner of Søndermarken. Dating from 1859, the Zoo has undergone extensive renovation in recent years to offer the animals more space, including the Norman Foster-designed, state-of-the-art elephant enclosure.
Copenhagen Zoo is especially well-suited for families with small children, and kid-friendly facilities include small diaper changing facilities in the restrooms—as well as smaller toilets for those of kindergarten age—areas to eat packed lunches as well as healthy kid packs in the cafe, and an amazing play area filled with activities you'll find it hard to pull your kids away from. There is also a petting zoo with farm animals and pony rides on offer.
