- The former meat-packing district of Copenhagen has developed from one of the city's hardest quarters into one of its hippest. Located in Vesterbro not far from the Central Train Station, it comprises the older Den Brune Kødby ('The brown meat city') that includes exhibition hall Øksnehallen and Hvide Kødby ('white meat city'), characterized by its 1930s white and blue buildings. Newcomers to the neighborhood include restaurants and bars BioMio, Karrierebar and PatéPaté and galleries V1 and Bo Bjerggaard.
