Description:
- Whenever the Queen or the Crown Prince are at the official residence at Amalienborg, the Royal Guard marches from the Rosenborg barracks through the center of Copenhagen to Amalienborg. This is done so that the guards at these two points switch positions. The Guards, with their bearskin hats and the small percussion and wind band, have fascinated children for generations. The changing of the Guard takes place daily at noon.
