Description:
- Kulturbro - meaning 'culture bridge' - is a biennial of art and culture held on both the Danish and Swedish sides of the Øresund Sound every other autumn. The festival was inaugurated in 2000, the same year that the bridge between the Danish capital, Copenhagen, and the third largest city in Sweden, Malmö was opened. Over 100 museums, concert halls and theatres are expected to participate in the event this year, which the organizers hope will generate cultural exchange and contribute to maintaining a high level of artistic quality in the region.
