• This popular cinema, with 17 rooms (these range from the large to the tiny: While the biggest can seat 689, the smallest has room for just 47 people) is a well-known landmark thanks to its brightly-colored facade of pinks and blues often described as "candy striped". It dates back to 1917, although its colorful exterior was not introduced until 1989, the bright idea of artist and art academy professor Paul Gernes and his students.
