Description:

Run by national postal service PostDanmark in the former building of Copenhagen's Central Post Office, this museum charts the history of post and telecommunications from the 17th century onwards in both permanent and changing exhibitions. During school holidays the museum offers various activities for younger children; other facilities include a museum shop, top floor cafe and handicapped access. After reopening fall 2010 after a large-scale renovation, the museum is currently free all days until October 15 2011.
