Copenhagen's airport is located in Kastrup, close to the downtown area and brilliantly connected by the Metro so you can get from and to the airport in 30 minutes or less. The nearest area to the airport worth seeing is Christianshavn - a pretty canalside area with lots of shops, cafes and things to see. Or get off at Kongens Nytorv and stroll around pedestrian Strøget or quayside Nyhavn.
