The architects who designed the Biltmore also designed the Biltmores in Atlanta and Los Angeles, New York City's Grand Central Terminal and the Miami Daily News Tower, which is now Downtown's Freedom Tower. Even if you're not (or can't afford!) to stay there, spend a day on the 6,800-yard, 18-hole, par-71 golf course open daily. Tee times are daily until 7pm but you can also enjoy the on-site tennis courts, spa and the largest hotel pool in the United States at 23,000 square-feet.
