Don't even think of coming here until very late; most of the jazz acts begin around 1am, and the doors only open (reluctantly) at around 11pm. You have to ring a bell to gain entrance to this club, which sits on a steeply sloping street behind fortresslike iron gates. Inside, tiny marble tables and spinning ceiling fans evoke colonial Havana. In addition to regularly scheduled music featuring local and visiting musicians, management encourages anyone with musical talent to participate in the frequent jam sessions. Cover charges range from 4€ to 8€ ($6.40-$13), depending on the night of the week. Open Tuesday to Saturday 11pm to 4am.
