Originally built as a palace between the 16th to 18th centuries, Hospes Palacio de Bailio balances the wealth of modern luxury with the richness of empires past. Each guest room and common area has its own interesting layout as a result of having been reconstructed around the vaulted ceilings, arches, and beautiful stone architecture of the original palace. Decoration retains Jewish, Arab, and Christian themes while superseding expectations of quality with materials such as velvet, leather, hardwood floors, and Sierra Elvira marble. Guests will be pampered in this epicurean setting, which includes a Mudéjar library, Roman patio, gardens, fountains, orange trees, and a Roman spa.
