Description:
In a 16th-century house that belonged to the first bishops of Córdoba, this restaurant in the Jewish Quarter is in the center of the tourist area. The mesón offers seven dining areas, along with balconies and a central patio adorned with antique-style murals. The whole place has been lovingly restored and tastefully decorated. The most lavish way to dine here is to order the menú gastronómico de degustación, a selection of various house specialties. From the a la carte menu you can begin with salmorejo (thick Andalusian gazpacho), and then follow with rabo de toro en salsa (bull's tail in savory tomato sauce) or dorada a la sal (gilthead sea bream that has been baked in a salt crust to retain its juices).
