- This set of ancient ruins outside the town is said to be a present from one of the caliphs to one of his wifes, and a secret underground tunnel links it with the mosque. True or not, one can see the structure of this neatly designed city and many of the decorated arcades still stand. A one-morning trip even nicer if you are an architect or an archaeologist.
