NileGuide Expert tip:
If you don't want to pay 6€ to enter, you can pay just 3€ to walk through the beautiful gardens.
Few of Córdoba's palaces have been open to the public in the past, but that's changed with the opening of this museum. Visitors are shown into a carriage house, where the elegant vehicles of another era are displayed. Note the intricate leather decoration on the carriages and the leather wall hangings, some of which date from the period of the Reconquest. There's also a collection of leather paintings. You can wander at leisure through the garden and patios. These patios, 14 in all, are particularly stunning. The palace is 4 blocks southeast of the Plaza de Colón on the northeastern edge of the Old Quarter.
