Eilish and Pat O'Leary's superbly restored 18th-century terrace house attracts a well-heeled clientele and is set to be a long-distance runner among Cork's many excellent restaurants. Flavors here are paired to complement and contrast: a spinach-and-cream-cheese strudel might be served with a sauce of roasted red pepper and black olives, and spicy Toulouse sausages get paired with sauerkraut. The place gets jammed at lunchtime, when the prices offer good value, so be prepared to wait or, better yet, go for a leisurely dinner.
