Description:
- Established in 1720, the Royal Cork Yacht Club is one of the oldest in the world and has a fine tradition behind it. Situated at Crosshaven, just inside the mouth of Cork Harbour, it enjoys a mild temperate climate due to the influence of the Gulf Stream. The port facilities include marinas, moorings, fueling and supplies. The club itself is involved in all branches of sailing activity, with members competing at the highest levels. The clubhouse has a bar and restaurant, while the club office offers phone, fax, e-mail and mail holding facilities.
