Siuslaw National Forest - Corvallis

  • Description:

    • One of only two forests in the continental United States to border the Pacific Ocean, Siuslaw offers visitors the rare chance to witness the power of the sea and the tranquillity of the mountains in the same context. Due to the nearness of the ocean, the weather in this 630,395-acre forest can change rapidly. Hiking, camping and other activities are available in the three wilderness areas within its borders: Rock Creek, Cummins Creek and Drift Creek. A Forest Service parking pass may be required.
