Description:

 INBIO Park is an expansive natural theme park and a gateway to exploring Costa Rica. Within minutes of the capital city of San Jose, INBio Park is a non-profit organization dedicated to scientific research and promoting the importance of and conservation of Costa Rica's rich bio-diversity. Facilitated by the National Biodiversity Institute (INBio), a tour of the park includes representations of different types of rainforests found in the country, and encounter with exotic wildlife residents such as sloths, poisonous dart frogs, and iguanas is to be expected. The grounds are well-equipped for visitors of all ages and sizes, and include a restaurant and coffee shop and a Costa Rican souvenir shop. During a 15-minute informational video, you'll take a virtual tour through exhibit halls and hike trails through simulated ecosystems of a tropical rainforest. On a guided tour, included in an entrance ticket to the park, you'll have the opportunity to check out the herb and medicinal garden, butterfly garden, mushroom exhibit, aquarium and lagoon.
