  • This island is a half an hour ferry ride (costs 140 pesos and leaves near the southern end of 5th Avenue and Benito Juarez, on other side of waterfront park) from downtown Playa del Carmen. Last ferry is at 10 p.m. Attractions include shopping for arts and crafts and fine jewelry, world renowned diving hole, ruins, beaches, kiteboarding, snorkeling, and international cuisine.
