- Constitution Day (Día de la Constitución is an official holiday in all of Mexico. On this day, businesses, banks, schools and government buildings will be closed. The celebration is in honor of the most recent Mexican constitution, which was signed in 1917. Here you will see a parade or two through the streets leading to the Plaza Central. The celebration usually has music, dancing and the sharing of food with family and friends. No admission fee.
