Description:
- Dia del San Pedro y San Pablo is a joint celebration of one of the two most popular apostles in Mexico. Their joint feast day is celebrated with masses and novenas to the saints. Houses are decorated with blue and white banners, the colors associated with the two apostles. After a procession from the church, paper kites and balloons with candles in them are released into the air with prayers attached. In the evening there is a carnival with special fireworks.
