Description:
- Beachgoers come to this eastern beach to bask in the sun, beachcomb along the rocky shore, or explore the small ruins of El Mirador and El Trono. Half-way up, the beach becomes protected by the reef with the same name, making swimming less dangerous in the Punta Chiqueros. Nearby is the Playa Bonita Beach Club, serving tasty meals and light snacks. To reach the beach from San Miguel, head east on the Costera Sur highway until Parque Punta Sur, then turn north for four miles.
