Description:

  • This is a traditional Mexican market where fresh fruit and vegetables are sold by vendors at their stalls. Regional produce such as oranges, limes (called lemons here), bananas, papaya, mangoes, pineapple, cucumber, avocado, potatoes, nopal, beets, onions and sweet carrots are all sold at incredibly low prices. With a couple of dollars you can make three or four meals. Dry goods and other items are also for sale. A terrific place to get a feel for Mexican village life. A word of caution for the squeamish: the meat is hung up for display here.
