• La Chupitería is the ultimate bar in Cusco, and a must visit for any traveller passing through. Run by Katy Shorthouse, a Lonely PLante author and co-owner of alternative adventure travel company, Aspiring Adventures. La Chupi (literally "to suck", which is the Spanish equivalent of "to down your drink, or take a shot" has the most extensive list of shots available in all Peru (possibly all of South America!), and happy friendly staff. They serve the cheapest drinks in town, and is situated in a handy location, just off Gringo Alley (Calle Procuradores). With the huge range of shots for cheap prices, you wallet might not hurt the next day, but your head may!
