• A block from the picturesque Plazoleta San Blas, the Casa de la Gringa provides affordable and peaceful accommodation. The hostal's décor is earthy and spiritual: the rooms and hallways smell of incense and the walls are adorned with Buddhist themed paintings and photographs. Each has its own color pattern and style and all are spacious, bright and airy. The hostal provides tours of Cusco and the Sacred Valley and specializes in sacred plant medicine and spiritual cleansing journeys. Only one room has a private bathroom, but the shared facilities have hot water twenty-four hours a day. All rooms come with continental breakfast, access to a patio and lounge, a communal kitchen, computer and wireless internet. The same owner has opened Casa de La Gringa II (Calle Carmen Bajo 226; 84 254 387), also a block from the Plazoleta San Blas, which offers similar amenities but at cheaper prices.
