Calle Resbalosa, or slippery street, is an appropriate name for this steep pedestrian street that ascends dramatically from the main downtown district. Though a potentially treacherous climb when wet, hotels and hostals on this road provide unparalleled views of the Plaza de Armas. Hostal Resbalosa is an affordable hostal for the traveler who doesn't want to sacrifice a private bathroom nor an awe-inspiring view. Though most of the rooms have small windows with insignificant vistas, there are two large terraces where one can enjoy a continental breakfast while watching the sun rise over the Cusco valley. The hostal is quite sizeable and offers wireless Internet, a public computer, tour agency, laundry service and community kitchen. A continental breakfast is included, though you can stay for cheaper if you forgo the service.
