• El Encuentro, Cusco's best known vegetarian restaurant, serves up one of the more affordable and appetizing fixed menus in the downtown district. With three locations just blocks away from the Plaza de Armas, if one set menu doesn't catch your eye, you can easily swing by one of their other locales to check out the daily selection. Folkloric music often plays in the background and all three restaurants are furnished with wooden benches and tables draped with Andean textiles. The set menu comes with soup, entrée and tea, and an all vegetarian a la carte menu is also available.
