Located in the picturesque Plazoleta San Blas, The Meeting Place Café is a breakfast and lunch spot founded by a family of missionaries who fell in love with Peru and simply couldn't leave. The modest establishment is volunteer run and all proceeds benefit charitable organizations and projects in the Cusco region. Attracting a predominantly Northern American clientele, expect to be greeted in English and offered one of their authentic American-style hamburgers or satisfying waffles. The Meeting Place strives to create a close knit community; most patrons know each other and are keen to welcome and chat with newcomers. Breakfast, lunch and coffee are served Monday through Saturday from 8:30am until 4pm. The café additionally provides a Sunday church service in English.
