User Review:
- Shopping at the Market of San Pedro is a total experience. You can start by drinking fresh fruit juice, have a haircut, have a dress made, choose between 12 different kinds of potatoes. If you can stomach it you can walk through the aisle where cow's lungs, tongues and other less easily recognizable bits are displayed. Choose some fresh flowers, stock up on coca leaves, admire the row of multiskirted mamachas sitting atop heaps of yuca. Perhaps the most interesting part of the market is the "shamans" shop where you can buy everything you need to perform all kinds of rituals (from pagos a la tierra to limpiezas to less benvolents ones....). Do not forget the llama foetus, always a good addition to your rituals...
