Description:
- This old Inca dwelling is situated on the right hand side of the Huatanay River, on the flanks of Silkincanchi. It was converted into a village at the end of the 17th century. The ruins here, once controlled the access to the city during Inca times. This village is popular today because of its more than 40 "chicharron" (fried pork) restaurants lining the streets. Transportation to the city is available from 6am-7pm daily.
